THE MARCHING SKALETONS

The Marching SKAletons – The Horn-Powered Ska Revivalists

Emerging from the eternal slumber with one unified mission: to keep the spirit of ska alive, spread its infectious energy, and inspire dance. The Marching SKAletons bring the fire of the first wave of ska to modern audiences with a blend of original tunes and timeless classics. With every performance, we aim to breathe new life into forgotten gems, delivering ska instrumentals, unique re-imaginings, and our signature high-energy grooves.

Whether on stage or on the move, our dynamic performances turn every show into a carnival, igniting the crowd with horn-driven ska, Latin influences, electro vibes, mariachi flair, and even surprising ska renditions of songs from the likes of Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, and Europe. With our powerhouse horn section, infectious rhythm section, and engaging crowd interactions, the party never stops.

Visually striking in our signature skeleton attire, we make every appearance unforgettable. If you’ve ever found yourself reminiscing about a night where "that skeleton ska band raised the roof," then you’ve likely danced with us at festivals or intimate venues across the UK.

Not just a band, but an experience, we bring the celebration wherever we go – whether as a traditional street band or rocking the electric stage. Our lively presence has earned us repeat bookings at renowned festivals like Glastonbury, Boomtown, Latitude, Camp Bestival and Wickham Festival, and venues including Hootenanny Brixton and Gaz’s Rocking Blues. We've had the honour of performing alongside Madness and entertaining crowds at major events such as Notting Hill Carnival, Brighton Ska Train, and Lewes Bonfire Night.

In 2024, we embarked on recording our debut album, filled with 12 original tracks, mixed and mastered by Rich Aitkin. This exciting project will see its release through Interstellar Music throughout 2025, accompanied by 4 thrilling music videos to further fuel the celebration.

So, whether you’re catching us on stage or dancing through the crowd, The Marching SKAletons will ensure the party never stops. Come join the carnival—where the music is loud, the rhythms are infectious, and the skeletons are always dancing!
