campaigns field

the centre of politics and protest at GG...
...
bringing together activists and academics to raise awareness of diverse social and environmental justice issues.

Every day is jam packed with discussions and workshops, with up to six sessions happening at once. You’ll find great places to hang out and discuss the things you care about here.

In addition to a full programme in the Campaigns Dome, the Speakers’ Forum & Radical Cinema occupies a corner of the field offering in-depth info, inspiration and debate while campaigners such as Kushti Bok, Radical Routes and Earth First! share info about their projects and the Women's Tent, Queer Space and Radical Families offer welcoming havens.

Learn about waste streams and upcycling at the Clean Stream Centre or hang out at the Resource Hub to get the low-down on renewable energy and practical off-grid solutions.

The Green Gathering charity is based here and Travellerspace offers a play area for young kids. Veggies does the best veggie burgers and at Food For A Future you can learn how to make your own vegan treats.

The evenings are owned by DIY Open Mic: come along, have a go!

workshops

There’s a packed programme in the main Campaigns Dome, with talks, discussions and workshops on a wide range of topics from refugee solidarity to non-violent revolution, feminism, peace activism, Black history and fighting the fossil fuel lobby.

Then there's the Women’s Tent, Queer Space, Food For A Future, Radical Families and Resource Hub - each with their own schedule of workshops and activities.

Our 2023 Programme provides a peek at the kind of things you might expect to find this year - though of course 2024 will be the best yet!
