Eryn McDonald is an interdisciplinary artist with a practice based in dance, drama and poetry. They studied dance and drama at Bath Spa University during the bleakness of Covid, which has subsequently given them an appetite for tangible live work. They have been a finalist at UniSlam 2021 and 2022, and at the Lyra Poetry Festival Slam; and they have performed at The Hen & Chicken, NozStock, Divergence, and the South West heat of the Roundhouse Slam.
A lot of their writing focuses around queerness, identity and politics, and they are looking at incorporating more song and movement into poetry performance. They are interested in creating work that crosses genres and disciplines, asks slightly uncomfortable questions, and has a positive social impact.
