The Raconteurs’ Delight is a captivating venue, hosting spoken word and cabaret acts by night; family friendly entertainment early evening; performance and art based workshops by day; and very special lunchtime guests.
Poets, comedians, clowns, acrobats, magicians, storytellers and jazz musicians rub shoulders in the steampunk bar enjoying temperance drinks and kooky cocktails: think lashings of ginger beer or dandelion and burdock optionally laced with gin; elderflower and apple tipples; vegan white russian or bloody mary… all in steampunk style with reuseable glasses, compostable paper straws and edible flower decorations!
The Raconteurs’ bar is run on a non-profit basis, with proceeds supporting the festival.
We’re very excited that Three Acres And A Cow will be joining us to share a history of land rights and protest in folk song & story. Part TED talk, part history lecture, part folk club sing-a-long, part poetry slam, part storytelling session… Three Acres And A Cow is one of the most unique, entertaining, inspiring acts we’ve seen in years!
