Our influences are rooted in landscape and natural world. Tagaradr is a Welsh plant – translating into common restharrow – a pink plant, grows on the sand dunes a few miles from our home on the Isle of Anglesey. It’s a bilingual folk fusion project with main vox (Sian) and backing vocal/acoustic guitar by Caine Jones-Williams. I focus on honest and direct storytelling – something I wish to reinforce as I focus on preserving the natural world through our sound and spoken elements. In 2019, we were shortlisted for a Wales Folk Award for Best Original English Song – Fall and Drop.
