Throughout the past two years, as we’ve dealt with the challenges thrown at us by the pandemic, we’ve been thinking about other projects too. And now, we’ve got something to talk to you about.
So far it’s just an idea. As we’ve been unable to gather all together for so long, it’s got us thinking about what more we can provide in between our magical festivals.
We’re well aware no one has time to experience the sheer variety of everything we have on offer at the festival. And that’s why we’re considering producing content all year round, delivered to you online. All the great Green Gathering stuff, in a format you can access anywhere.
Whilst online content can’t replace the joy of a physical festival, we think it could go a long way to sharing and spreading our very important messages about low-impact living. We’re not the only ones to think this, either – we’ve been invited to team up with Cardiff University and Welsh digital creatives Hoffi with a view to producing such online content – you can find out more about this project here.
Of course, before we plough on, it makes sense to ask what you – our potential audience – thinks. So please take a look through the draft ideas below, and then head to our survey to let us know!
This presentation will show you what kind of things we want to share – it will sound a lot like what you’d see at The Green Gathering!
This prototype is an example of what it could look like online (bear in mind this is a very early sketch).
And lastly, this online event from our friends at Envirolution is an example of what it could look like when completed.
Now head back to our survey!
To thank you for your precious time in answering this, we’ll be giving away an organic, fair trade Green Gathering t-shirt to every 10th responder!
